Applying to our school is a straightforward process designed to cater to the preferences and convenience of our diverse community and dedicated to providing a seamless and inclusive application process that extends across all levels of our student's education including: the Nursery, Primary, and Secondary schools. Whether you prefer an in-person application experience or the flexibility of an online submission, we have tailored our process to accommodate your needs and our process remains consistent, ensuring a smooth transition for students at every educational milestone.

IN-PERSON APPLICATION

Visiting Our Campus, Exploring Possibilities

Applying in person is a unique experience that allows you to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Cornerstone International School. Here's how you can initiate the in-person application process:

1. Visit the School/Attend Open Days:

Parents/Guardians of prospective students can visit us at our main campus at No. 1 Marine Base Road, PH, Rivers, NG. to schedule a tour of our world class facilities and to view the prospectus, code of conducts and school policies in relation to the school that they are applying into for their children/ward.

2. Meet with Admissions Counselors:

Parents/Guardians can then take the opportunity to meet with our experienced admissions counselors and advisors who will guide them through the application process, answer your queries, and provide comprehensive information about our academic programs, curriculums and subjects.

3. Buy Admission Form:

While at our premises parents/guardians can also buy and collect our admission forms for our nursery, primary and secondary schools at the simple cost of ₦5000.00 only.
After filling the form either at home or at the school premises. Parents/Guardians of prospective students are required to drop off the filled admission form and other required application materials, including academic transcripts, recommendation letters, and any other relevant documentation at the accounts department of our reception. This will be submitted for further processing and further information will be forwarded to parents including details of entrance examination date and time.

4. Entrance Examination:

Prospective students will be required to sit for an entrance examination at a particular date and time set by the school. This date will be corroborated to the students and parents well in advance to enable the child prepare well in advance for the exam.
The exam will comprise of core subjects, that will be taught in the class the child is applying into. Therefore reading in advance is recommended N/B: Prospective students into some classes might not need to take an entrance examination and might only need to conduct an oral interview.

5. Admissions Interview

Students who pass the entrance examination and their parents/guardians will be required to participate in a one-on-one admissions oral interview with our counselors and school management. This interactive session allows us to get to know you better, understand your aspirations, and ensure that Cornerstone International School aligns with your educational goals.
Then, If the prospective student passes the oral interview, our admission officers will present the prospective students and their parents a contract that all three parties (school admission officer, parent/guardian & prospective student) will have to sign on. This contract confirms enrollment of the student to Cornerstone International School.

Fill out the online application form, providing accurate information about the prospective student, their educational background and Parent/Guardian information. Upload necessary documents, such as passport photographs and academic transcripts for transferring Students etc.

3. Application Fee Payment:

As with our partnership with PAYSTACK, parents/guardians can now pay the application fee of ₦5000.00 securely through our online payment system. This fee covers the administrative costs associated with processing your application. Upon successful payment, the form will be processed and sent to the relevant admissions team for further processing.

4. Entrance Examination:

Prospective students will be required to sit for an entrance examination at a particular date and time set by the school. This date will be corroborated to the students and parents well in advance to enable the child prepare well in advance for the exam.
